Main objective of the training

To equip management teams, HR teams, sexual harassment representatives and, when appropriate, all members of the works council to prevent, detect and deal with sexist and sexual violence in the workplace.

Part 1: Identifying and understanding the different forms of sexist and sexual violence

  • Distinguishing between the different forms of sexist and sexual violence
  • The consequences of violence (understanding the potential impact on the victim, the team and the company)

Part 2: What can you do? Understanding the legal obligations

  • Your role as an HR officer, manager or sexual harassment officer: prevention and detection
  • How to react on the spot ( role-play exercises: reacting to sexist behaviour or testimony of violence, reporting incidents that have been brought to my attention, what to do if the victim doesn't want to report, etc.)
