After a year 2022 marked by climatic disasters in France and around the world, soaring gas and electricity prices, semiconductor supply disruptions, the war in Ukraine, etc., public awareness of energy-climate issues is accelerating. But understanding these issues remains long and difficult, given their complexity, technical nature and often vertiginous nature. This conference will provide participants with a rapid and structured understanding, thanks to interactive teaching and a very dynamic pace. The conference is structured around the following four themes:

Climate change:

  • Basics: causes and consequences of climate change,
  • Objectives & Perspectives: risk reduction and adaptation,
  • Physical and transition risks: what impact for my business?

Energy:

  • The basics: what is energy?
  • Energy systems & mix: energy sources, infrastructures and value chains

Society:

  • Carbon footprint & orders of magnitude
  • Individuals, businesses and public authorities: 3 levels of action

Transforming:

  • Business & Climate antagonisms: why do ambitions stall?
  • Emissions, value chains & economic fabric
  • Decarbonizing: how to get your organization moving?

One objective: train to transform!
