Objective zero: a journey towards eco-sufficiency

Benjamin De Molliens - Sustainability conference

Benjamin de Molliens

A fervent defender of the environment, an enthusiast of outdoor sports and trained in public speaking, he brings together his 3 pillars of life: sporting adventure, communication and environmental protection.

Through his "Zero Expeditions", Benjamin carries out itinerant sports adventures that respect 3 Zeros as much as possible: Zero carbon emissions, Zero waste, Zero new material.

Besides his expeditions, he offers challenges for the general public. He launched especially #cleanyourkm in November 2020, during the second lockdown - a challenge that became viral and publicized in a few weeks!

While giving the desire to the largest number of people to be interested in ecology and take action, Benjamin highlights the limits and dangers of overconsumption, of the linear economy (produce, consume, throw away) based on infinite growth, and of the strong dependence of our society on carbon energies, real climate bombs. His conference deals with the themes of eco-citizenship, the power of example and positive communication to give the desire to act. He uses his journeys, his adventures and his challenges as a red thread to inspire and raise awareness among his audience regarding environmental protection.

Through fun and educational communications, Benjamin inspires and encourages behavioural changes, citizen by citizen. His initiatives have received great media coverage in France and internationally. In addition to Expedition Zero, Benjamin has co-founded Objective Zero, an impactful program that leads from inspiration to action.
