Developing inclusive management practices

Developing inclusive management practices

Learning objectives

  • Understand the legal framework and key definitions of diversity, inclusion and non-discrimination.
  • Identify unconscious biases and stereotypes, understand their mechanisms and analyze their impact in a professional context.
  • Recognize situations conducive to exclusion, promote inclusive leadership and apply best practices to foster a work environment where everyone feels valued and respected, and can deploy their full skills and talents.

The goal of this training is to equip managers with best practices for diversity and inclusion and anti-discrimination by raising awareness, helping them identify areas for improvement to retain and motivate the company's talent, and providing them with concrete tools to foster an inclusive and equitable work environment where everyone can fully develop their skills and talents.

The training is divided into three parts:

  1. Preventing Discrimination and Promoting Inclusion: Understanding the key concepts of diversity, inclusion and non-discrimination. Where are we in the workplace? Why is it so difficult to make progress on these issues? Key figures, legal frameworks and definitions.

  2. Unconscious bias and stereotypes: mechanisms, impact in the workplace, and strategies to address them.

  3. Developing inclusive management practices: best practices and concrete tools for implementing inclusive management (team diversity, communication, rewards and recognition, career development, access to training, flexibility and accessibility of work, team life, work-life balance, criteria for excellence, speaking time in meetings, maternity/parental leave, etc.).
