From a French perspective, the management of large American companies can be inspiring but also appear out of sync with French culture.

However, in a company like Google, the diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy is treated on par with the business strategy, featuring ambitious goals, concrete action plans, and measurable indicators.

This conference will help you better understand how to draw inspiration from these practices to create a truly inclusive management culture in your company. It will explore topics such as performance management, progress measurement, the importance of feedback, and employee communities.

Alicia Birr began her career in the creative industries, but later specialized in digital transformation consulting. She has worked for almost 10 years at Google France as head of consumer insights, where she studied and analyzed the consumption habits of users. She has been a LGBTQIA+ activist since her time at Sciences Po and she continued her feminist commitment through mentoring young girls and women. In 2021 she launched re·wor·l·ding, a project dedicated to deconstructing language and rebuilding a world that is more just and diverse. The mission is to encourage people to critically examine everyday language and to use precise and inclusive language.
