At home, in the public arena and at work, there is still a long way to go for Diversity and Inclusion. Browsing through History and examples drawn from various parts of the world, we will zoom into the modern workplace in order to uncover a broad range of discriminations, sometimes benevolent or seemingly harmless, but always based on stereotypes regarding gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, physical abilities, religion etc..

The conference is structured in 3 parts:

  1. Key figures, legal framework and definitions

  2. Examples of what certain concepts actually mean: Diversity, Inclusion, Discrimination as well as Stereotypes, Biases, and Prejudices

  3. How do stereotypes play out in our daily life at work? And how can we play our part to move things forward?

The aim of this conference is to raise awareness and also to equip participants with hand-on tools and a positive mindset. Based on abundant real-life examples and best practices, participants consistently walk out eager to contribute to a more inclusive workplace.
