What is intersectionality and why is it fundamental to an inclusive approach in the workplace? How can it help us understand the complexity of individual experiences and recognise the multiple facets of identity that influence working life? How can recognising and valuing this complexity enrich our working environment? How can an intersectional approach enhance our ability to create truly respectful, equitable and fulfilling work environments for all?

These are the questions that this conference seeks to answer in three parts:

  1. An introduction to intersectionality: the foundations of intersectionality and its importance in understanding the dynamics of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

  2. The power of an intersectional approach: the benefits of an intersectional approach in identifying and effectively tackling inequality and discrimination in the workplace.

  3. Tools and best practices: methods and tools for integrating intersectionality into diversity and inclusion policies, focusing on concrete actions that individuals and companies can take to promote a welcoming and equitable environment for all.

This conference is aimed at all those who wish to deepen their understanding of the dynamics of diversity and inclusion and who wish to play an active role in creating a more inclusive working environment, taking into account the complexity of each person's identity.
